ASP ARTS COLLECTIVE
ASP ARTS COLLECTIVE is a platform that brings together a broad range of art and artists to demonstrate and discuss the effects of colonialism in the Americas and across the world.
From a critical and open perspective, it seeks to foster a visual and virtual dialogue between artists who share experiences and the transnational trauma that comes with the unresolved problems of the invasion and occupation of a territory, the removal of its indigenous people and the enslavement of Africans and other ethnic groups across the colonial spectrum.
➤ THEORY
ASP Arts Collective contextualizes the eras of enslavement and its aftermath within the framework of colonialism.
